The annex of Kaireios Library – “House of Michael E. Kidonieos” is a neoclassical mansion that has been fully restored and is open to public since July 2002. The inauguration of the building as well as the exhibition “Andros and Cyclades – Exhibition of Maps” took place in the summer of 2002. The maps belong mainly to the library, to Mrs. Samourka Margarita but also to various collectors. The whole building belongs to the library and serves many purposes. It is both an exhibition space but it also houses rare editions of book, unique paintings, antique furniture, and various other items of popular culture.
