Panormos

Panormos is a beautiful fishing village on the northern part of the island; a natural small port with fish restaurants by the sea. This is the seaport of Pyrgos and one of the most beautiful destinations in Tinos.

This coastal settlement used to be one of the two major ports of the island and a transshipment center in the past century. The goods (such as wheat) arrived to Panormos from Greece and abroad and offered milling work to the windmills that are deserted nowadays.

Currently, the port can accommodate the mooring of small fishing boats. As a tourist, you can enjoy a nice dive in the clean water (Agia Thalassa, Kavalourko, Rohari) and fresh seafood at the fish taverns that face Planitis islet with its isolated lighthouse.
