Fikardou Rural Museum

Fikardou village was abandoned in the early 19th century. It has been declared an ancient monument and was carefully restored to preserve the 18th century houses with their remarkable woodwork and traditional architecture. Two out of the three houses have been turned into museums containing agricultural tools and other items associated with rural life.

The village won the Europa Nostra Award in 1987.
