Alimia - Iraklia

The bay of Alimia hosts two beautiful beaches located on the southwestern coast of the island. Both are sandy and protected by the winds, with beautiful waters. One of them also has natural shade thanks to a small rock that looks like a cave. The trademark of the beach is the "carcass" of a German seaplane that fell here during the Second World War.

The beach is accessible by the sea. You can also reach it on foot but the route is too long so it is suitable only for hiking enthusiasts.
